Stinger LAM

The Stinger LAM is a version of the Stinger mech that can change forms between a mech, an aerospace fighter, and an airmech. The original art was based on the VF-1A from Robotech, and is now considered "unseen". For TRO 3085, a "reseen" version of this unit was presented, with a set of minis produced in 2014. The following Stinger LAM minis were produced:

Mech Picture Reseen casting (airmech)
This miniature is a reseen Stinger LAM in airmech mode, painted in a Sword of Light scheme.

STATUS: Completed 12/2014.

Mech Picture Reseen casting (mech)

Mech Picture Reseen casting (fighter)

Stinger LAM "St. George"
Unseen casting
I practiced multiple-layer blending with blues and whites on this old-school mini. The paint scheme is the 3025-era 11th Lyran Guard. I entered this mini in the Last Painter Standing II contest on The Miniatures Page [TMP], and the public judging of it placed me into the finals.

STATUS: Completed 9/2005.

Stinger LAM "Flyby"
Unseen casting
This is one of the "unseen" Robotech mechs, the Stinger LAM. This one has been modified slightly to be in a flying pose. It comes off the flight stand, so it can stand on the table as well. "Flyby" features a sporty white and blue stripe paint scheme.

STATUS: Custom job, delivered 3/99.

Stinger LAM "Magma Master"
Unseen casting
This is one of the "unseen" Robotech mechs, the Stinger LAM. This one has a three-tone volcanic camo scheme for scout and recon duty in areas with a large igneous rock content.

STATUS: Custom job, delivered June 2000.
