Grasshopper

Grasshopper was originally made in the late 1980s as a one-piece figure. In the 1990s it was later recast in a form where the arms are separate.

Mech Picture New casting
This Grasshopper is shown in the House Imarra scheme from the Battle of Sian. This mini appeared in the CSO diorama at Gencon 2009. It is shown with early TSM bursting into flame.

STATUS: Completed July 2009.

Mech Picture New casting
This mini has been modified by straightening one of the arms and turning the head. The paint scheme is one that I helped develop for Burton's Brigade, a unit featured in Mercenaries Supplemental 2. This mini not only appears in the color plate of the book, but it was the inspiration for the cover art as well.

STATUS: Custom job, delivered 10/2002.

Mech Picture Old casting
This Grasshopper is painted in a custom merc scheme. It has been modified to be the GHR-5N variant, with a side torso-mounted PPC in place of the LL, and a ML in the head in place of the LRM-5.

STATUS: Custom job, delivered 10/2002.

Mech Picture New casting
This Grasshopper is painted in Skye Rangers parade colors, as seen in Field Manual: Lyran Alliance.

STATUS: Custom job, delivered 5/2002.

Mech Picture "The Horseman Plague"
Old casting
Grasshopper is one of the most overlooked of the original 3025 mechs. The 3025 version can easily take down Warhammers and some of the weaker new-tech mechs, though the 3050 version could be better. This mini is painted in a drybrushed brown low-vis scheme, with green checkers and Davion markings.

STATUS: This mech was sold, 02/2000.
