The Battleaxe appears to be a precursor to the Warhammer, and the fluff text in some of the fanzines confirm this. The Battleaxe mini was still in production after the name change to Battletech, and some blue-blister examples exist (the pack says "20-811 BTX-7K Battleax."). The mini's stamped date: 1985. On some old packages, the name is spelled with a trailing "e" (Battleaxe).
