Masakari / Warhawk

Masakari was produced in 3 versions: the original casting, the one from the MW3 boxed set (same base sculpt as the original, but but has additional raised detail on the shins and arms), and a new larger sculpt in 2004.

Mech Picture 2004 casting
This mini shows the parade scheme of Clan Smoke Jaguar's Epsilon Galaxy. The paint scheme was developed as part of a Camospecs Online project to describe the paint jobs of clan Smoke Jaguar. For Epsilon, I was inspired by the colors of the CSJ patch shown on the color plate in Mechwarrior (2nd Ed.). The patch is reddish orange with a yellow border, and the CSJ logo is in the center. Epsilon Galaxy is nicknamed "The Fangs of Justice", and the logo I designed is a simple steel trap motif with an epsilon in it. Here is the now-official text:
Epsilon Galaxy typically paints its 'Mechs in a dull reddish orange with yellow trim, though sometimes traditional jaguar-spot camo is used in the field. The Clan logo is always displayed prominently on the center torso, and columns of smoke are painted on the legs. The galaxy logo is a blue Epsilon set as the bait in a steel trap.

STATUS: Completed, 9/2004.

Mech Picture Original casting
I reposed this mini slightly to put it in a running pose. The left leg was moved, the left front toe bent, and spacers were placed in the torso and shoulder joints to give it the proper bulky appearance. The paint scheme is a four tone field camo with Clan Steel Viper markings. The hex base features gravel and rubble.

STATUS: Completed, 7/2003. Sold 5/2004.

Mech Picture Original casting
This mech is part of an arctic assault lance with Gladiator, Man-o-war, and Daishi. The composition of this lance is a typical Clan assault omni arrangement. The airbrushed paint scheme gives camoflauge suitable for fighting on the ice plains of polar regions. The unit shows the markings of Clan Ghost Bear.
