There are several castings of the Atlas:See also Atlas II and Atlas III.
- Original sculpt (1987). Single piece.
- the Mechcommander box set (1999) single piece one (based on a re-press of the original sculpt, which means it is about 10% smaller but otherwise about the same)
- First resculpt (1999), which has a few parts, is much taller and comparatively thin
- Second resculpt (2004), which has lots of parts and is substantially bulkier. The head is set lower in the torso than the 1999 sculpt.
- Beginner Set 1 sculpt (2004), which is a 1-piece variant of the 2004 resculpt but with the torso LRM-20 ports replaced with SRM-6 ports and some detailing. Also, the hands are sculpted closed.
- Alpha Strike (AS) plastic sculpt, base #24 from the Battletech Introductory Boxed Set and the Assault Lance Pack (2013). This version is nearly identical to the Beginner Set sculpt but in plastic.
- "Classic" Kickstarter (KS) plastic sculpt, Inner Sphere Direct Fire Lance (2021)
- Russian special edition, from Russian-language novel Kickstarter (~2022). Looks like the PGI Atlas, but was apparently correctly licensed.
- CGL Alpha Strike Boxed Set (ASBS) plastic sculpt, base a1 (2023). It represents AS7-S/S4.
- Hansen's Roughriders (HR) sculpt (2023), base 4-1. It is a reposed AS7-D.
