- Original casting from the late 1980s
- 2nd sculpt from the early 2000s. It looks similar to the first but is slightly larger and has sharper detail.
- Beginner Set 3 casting from 2004, which is a one-piece casting attached to a partial hex base. It's similar to the 2nd scultp, but with a slightly different wing.
- Alpha Strike (AS) plastic sculpt, base #2 from the Battletech Introductory Boxed Set and the Recon Lance Pack (2013). This version is nearly identical to the Beginner Set sculpt but in plastic.
- Dark Age casting, with an all-new appearance.

"The Recluse" Original casting This is the original casting of the Spider, an extremely mobile recon mech. The one shown here has a purple, white, and gold paint scheme. Since the mech is lightly armed, it generally keeps its distance from the enemy. This mech makes a great recon or spotting mech. STATUS: Sold, 1/2001. |
