"Peter Steiner-Davion" This Fafnir is painted in the Lyran Royal Guards scheme. It was inspired by the ride of Peter Steiner-Davion in the novel series. Detailing includes small runes on the legs and a rock-like hex base. STATUS: Completed, 9/2003. Sold, 10/2003. |

"Hagalaz" This is a Fafnir is the 26th Lyran Guard. It's all hand-painted (no decals this time), and includes Lyran Alliance logo on the right arm, Lyran Guards logo on the left arm, and 26th Lyran Guard ("Steiner's Boots") logo on the right leg. I opted for a blue camo paint job rather than the traditional blue and white LG parade scheme. This Fafnir is titled "Hagalaz", and has a Viking theme to it. There's a Viking mural on the right HGR, and various Norse runes on the mech (Hagalaz, Eihwaz, and Thurisaz -- which may have meaning to those of you up on Norse tradition). STATUS: Completed, 10/2002. Part of Dave's collection. |
